Brand story

My name is Janka Galbavá, and I have loved the scent of paper since childhood. When my daughter was born, I wanted a special photo album for her—so I made one myself. 🙂 It has been six years since I fell in love with album binding. From the start, my priority was to create albums with a high-quality binding—one that would maintain its shape even after photos were pasted in, open easily, and allow for comfortable writing. I wanted to ensure the album wouldn't turn into a bulky, swollen stack of paper once the photos were added. It all began with scrapbooking, but over time, I gravitated increasingly toward minimalism and traditional bookbinding techniques.
